OK, I was just thinking what i would like in the google chrome os.

Internet - Google Chrome
Picture Viewer - Google Picasa
Video Player - VLC (I expect google to buy this, or to make something similar)
Music Player - Something lightweight and fast.

Thats all i think it would be used for, but any other suggestions?

How did i forget Google Docs?

Music player = Winamp

I would want an under 30 second boot time. Something M$ has always failed at lol.

Also I want them to somehow incorporate DirectX. That way I can game in it. If I can't game in it, likely I won't use it. :(

Yeah, but it would be good for Laptops/Netbooks. Once i get a new PC and Laptop (gaming ones :D) I'll be wiping this and installing chrome.

I would prefer a 20 seconds :D Well, for single boot.

I think the best way will be to use Win7 (64x) and Chrome. Depending on what you want to do.

And winamp... I've never used it, but heard good about it. Looking at it now, i don't think it would fit in with the rest of Google's things.

Cos i just downloaded Picasa (i can spell it now jester!), and it looks bloody beautiful. It's so simple, and does the job (quickly). Like the Browser.

Yeah on a laptop I would for sure use chrome. Depending on how lightweight and fast it boots up.

I really don't see any reason to run windows on any laptop you don't game on. Linux is sooo much faster.
