Product Name:
Logitech G-15 keyboard: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3498&cl=us,en

Packaging:
The LCD screen was covered in a protective film, keyboard was enclosed in a plastic bag and packaged in a well fitted box. Pretty much standard fare.
Came with:
Driver CD
Very basic instruction sheet
Removable wrist rest (really just a piece of molded plastic). I chose not use this because of space considerations.
Description:
Very easy installation, I just plugged it into an available USB port, and installed the drivers.
This keyboard has some great features, such as an LCD screen to display important system or game information, 6 programmable G-keys, back lit keys, media keys, 2 built in USB ports with cable management grooves for a mouse and headphones, and a “game mode” key to disable the windows key during gaming. :good:

Here I have the LCD set to display CPU and RAM usage.

How it compares:
The G-15 is a definite step up from my old MS comfort curve 2000, the keys have a great feel to them without being noisy. Overall, it just has a very quality feel to it.
Conclusion:
The good:
The features! I love the idea of the game mode button, who hasn’t accidentally hit the windows key during the middle of an intense battle? The backlighting is also great because I keep my “cave” dark.
The bad:
The very basic instruction sheet, it’s not too hard to figure out the features, but for the price of this keyboard they could put a little more effort into it so we don’t have to waste our time searching. Second of all, the snap on wrist rest seems very cheap. I’m not using it, so it’s a moot point for me, but still…
Overall, I would definitely recommend this key to anyone in the market!
